Time for a refresh

As the title says, it’s “time for a refresh.” Everyone’s fitness journey is different and sometimes your motivation changes. When I first started this blog, I wanted a way to chronicle my misadventures in running & baking with some accountability thrown in there too. Over the last few years, (yes this blog has been around for a few years now, crazy… I know) my fitness motivation has changed.

My focus has become more about being strong, healthy, and listening to my body. I no longer participate in races every other weekend, but I still enjoy a good race now and again. While I still bake, I don’t do it as frequently (or healthy) as I would like. Over the last few months, I started a new exciting fitness endeavor! I teach indoor cycling classes. That’s right yours truly has officially started fulfilling a long-time dream and it’s just as awesome as I thought it would be. Cross training has become a critical part of my fitness routine and I just love trying new exercises. And lastly, I have been traveling more, which makes fitting in exercise a challenge but it’s the kind of challenge that I enjoy.

Let's Blast

Moving forward this blog is going to do a small pivot. I no longer identify with Bake N’ Burn Bombshell which is likely why I took a blogging hiatus. Therefore, it was time for a change.

Welcome to the new BikeRunBake.com. The name change may seem small, but it feels like a significant change to me. It aligns closer to how my fitness motivation and journey has evolved over time. I’ve also gone through and updated my social media accounts, if you’re looking for me on insta or twitter for more frequent updates, check out @Bike_Run_Bake on both platforms.

In the future, I hope to continue blogging about my fitness adventures, teaching cycling classes, running races, traveling, training, baking and everything in between.

How has your fitness journey changed? Are you motivated by something different now then when you first began exercising? What do you think of the new name?
